30.09.2012 - 03.10.2012 | Trade Show | SQUARE, Brussels Meeting Centre, Brussels, Belgium

14th International Symposium on Preparative and Industrial Chromatography and Allied Techniques

KNAUER exhibits at SPICA 2012 in Brussels - booth #12.

Together with the Belgian distributor SerCoLab, represented by Mr. Frans Thijs, KNAUER representatives of the Purification Solutions department, Dr. Friederike Sander and Dr. Matthias Lübbert as well as Dr. Guido Ströhlein from ChromaCon for the Contichrom® equipment line will be on site.
They are looking forward to inform you about latest news regarding HPLC products and services.

HPLC solutions from KNAUER are used for chemical analysis and product purification such as preparative LC and simulated moving bed chromatography - SMB. A wide range of application is possible (e.g. biochromatography inclusive an unique benchtop cooling).
Latest KNAUER products are AZURA, a new preparative HPLC system solution built for maximum versatility and reliability,
and Contichrom®, an all-in-one purification equipment for all chromatographic processes including MCSGP.

KNAUER / CHROMACON Seminar: Contichrom® - A New Dimension in Purification (Presented by: M. Lübbert, G. Ströhlein) Monday 01 October 2012 (during lunch break)

Contichrom® lab is a preparative 2-column liquid chromatography system designed for discovery, process development and scale-up, offering great flexibility for all process choices (batch, SMB, MCSGP, other multi-column) using a single equipment and software for biologics and synthetic APIs.
The MCSGP process principle uses twin columns, whereby the impure side fractions containing product are recycled internally extracting all product, thereby increasing both yield and purity by 50% at a 10-fold throughput increase and 70% buffer reduction.
Contichrom® lab has been designed to be very user-friendly employing software that helps the user to navigate through the process setup, execution and reporting, being 21CFR part 11 compliant.
The workshop will explain the uses, application fields as well as the process principles.
