Column thermostats

Smartline Series HPLC systems from KNAUER offer modern technology and practical design for isocratic or fully equipped multi-gradient multi-detector configurations.
Whether you need a single isocratic system or a gradient system with several detectors, the KNAUER Smartline series can accommodate all of your requirements with flexible combinations of individual modules.

Smartline Column Oven S-4000:
Optimally suited for the majority of HPLC applications. This oven features heating and active Peltier cooling in the range from 10°C below room temperature up to 140°C. Its contact oven design and conditioning of the mobile phase before the column inlet ensure an even temperature distribution over the entire column for improved separation results. Active column mobile phase cooling minimizes peak broadening and noise/drift in subsequent detection.

Smartline Column Thermostat: The Smartline column thermostat is designed for the use in chemical and biological routine analysis, including research laboratories. Its areas of application range from analytical to preparative HPLC. The reliable control of the temperature, which covers a range of 5 - 85°C has been realized with the use of a microprocessor controlled Peltier element.
The remote keypad enables access to all of the thermostat's functions and displays target and actual temperature in increments of 0.1°C.
The Smartline Column Thermostat can hold up to four HPLC columns.
The temperature can either be controlled with the supplied control panel or externally with a personal computer. A power-on self check, a leak detector with adjustable sensitivity and a programmable turn-off temperature protect the column.

Mistral column thermostat:
The Mistral column thermostat offers precise and stable temperature control ranging from 5°C up to 90°C to bring even your most demanding separation under control. The forced-air concept allows easy access to the column(s) and offers maximum flexibility with respect to column dimensions.

SunTherm column oven: The Sun Therm column oven provides the capability to maintain a precise temperature in the range from 5°C to 100°C. The heating transfer occurs via an aluminium block in the heating area and provides for optimum contact with the column. The thermal energy is transmitted directly by contact to the metal. Since the SunTherm column oven does not include any movable parts it is exceptionally effective and reliable.
